Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili. Sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground meat, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
- Incorporate the chopped tomato and cook until softened, around 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure the meat is evenly coated with the spices.
- Cover the pan and let the mixture cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- After 10 minutes, add the peas and cook for another 5 minutes until tender.
- Finally, sprinkle the garam masala over the dish and mix thoroughly.
