Ingredients

Salsa
1 cup
Sour cream
1/2 cup
Avocado
1, pitted and sliced
Lettuce leaves
8
Salt
1 teaspoon
Pepper
1/2 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Chili powder
1 teaspoon
Cumin
1 teaspoon
Lime juice
2 tablespoons
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Onion
1, sliced
Bell peppers
2, sliced
Flank steak
1 lb, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine lime juice, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create a vibrant marinade.
  2. Add the sliced flank steak to the marinade. Ensure all pieces are well-coated and allow them to marinate for a minimum of 10 minutes. For a deeper flavor, marinate for up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated steak to the skillet, cooking each side for 3-4 minutes or until it reaches your preferred level of doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Cook them until they are tender and slightly charred, which should take about 5-6 minutes.
  6. Return the cooked steak to the skillet and toss it with the peppers and onions, ensuring everything is well combined.
  7. Lay out the lettuce leaves and divide the steak mixture among them. Top each with sliced avocado, a dollop of sour cream, and a spoonful of salsa.
  8. Enjoy your mouthwatering, keto-friendly Steak Fajitas immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Tips

  • 💡 For a spicier kick, add a diced jalapeno to the skillet with the bell peppers and onions.
  • 💡 If you tolerate dairy, a sprinkle of shredded cheese can add an extra layer of flavor.
