Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.
- Add the cubed lamb shoulder to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes, or for better results, overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers, alternating with the slices of mushrooms, zucchini, bell peppers, and onion.
- Grill the skewers for about 10 minutes, turning them occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a juicy and flavorful bite.
- Garnish with finely chopped green onions and serve hot. Consider serving with a side of steamed rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
Tips
- Marinating the lamb overnight will allow the flavors to penetrate more deeply into the meat, resulting in a tastier dish.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before use to prevent burning.
- Feel free to substitute the vegetables with your favorites or whatever is in season.
