Serves 4

Ingredients

Frozen French fries
1 pound
Bulgogi beef
1 cup, cooked and sliced
Kimchi
1 cup, chopped
Sriracha mayo
1/4 cup
Green onions
2, chopped
Toasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the French fries package.
  2. Spread the frozen French fries evenly on a baking sheet. Bake them in the preheated oven until crispy and golden brown, usually about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispness.
  3. While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the cooked bulgogi beef and stir-fry for a few minutes until heated through and slightly caramelized. If you want to enhance the flavor, you can add a splash of soy sauce or sesame oil to the beef while cooking.
  4. Once the fries are ready, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a serving platter.
  5. Top the fries generously with the chopped kimchi and the warm bulgogi beef.
  6. Drizzle the sriracha mayo over the fries, ensuring even coverage. To make the sriracha mayo, simply mix together 1/4 cup of mayonnaise with 1-2 tablespoons of sriracha, adjusting to your desired spice level.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top for added crunch and flavor.
  8. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy this delightful fusion dish!

Tips

  • 💡 For an extra kick, consider adding sliced jalapeños or a sprinkle of gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) on top.
  • 💡 To make it vegetarian, substitute bulgogi beef with sautéed mushrooms or tofu marinated in a similar sauce.
  • 💡 Experiment with different types of kimchi for varying flavor profiles, such as radish kimchi or cucumber kimchi.
