Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the flour to create a roux, cooking for about 1 minute until it turns a light golden color.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Bring the mixture to a simmer, cooking for 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
