Dive into a bowl of sunshine with this vibrant and refreshing Tropical Kiwi and Pineapple Salsa! Bursting with the sweetness of ripe kiwi and juicy pineapple, this salsa is enhanced by the zesty crunch of red onion, the heat of jalapeño, and the fragrant touch of fresh cilantro. Perfect for summer gatherings or a lively taco night, this salsa is as versatile as it is delicious. 2 tablespoons, freshly squeezed

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced kiwi, pineapple, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro. Gently mix to incorporate all the ingredients.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the freshly squeezed lime juice, honey, and salt until well combined.
  3. Pour the lime juice mixture over the fruit mixture and gently toss everything together until the salsa is evenly coated.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld and intensify.
  5. Serve the Tropical Kiwi and Pineapple Salsa chilled with tortilla chips, or use it as a vibrant topping for grilled proteins.

Tips

  • 💡 For added depth, consider tossing in a diced avocado for creaminess.
  • 💡 If you prefer a spicier kick, leave some seeds in the jalapeño or add a dash of hot sauce.
  • 💡 This salsa is also delicious served over grilled chicken or fish for a tropical twist.
