
Korean BBQ Beef Skewers
These Korean BBQ beef skewers are marinated in a flavorful sauce and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Vegetable oil (1 tablespoon)
- Sesame seeds (1 tablespoon)
- Green onions (4, chopped)
- Pear (1, grated)
- Brown sugar (2 tablespoons)
- Ginger (1 tablespoon, grated)
- Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
- Sesame oil (2 tablespoons)
- Soy sauce (1/4 cup)
- Beef sirloin (1.5 pounds, cut into cubes)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar, grated pear, chopped green onions, sesame seeds, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to make the marinade.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef cubes onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from the grill and let the skewers rest for a few minutes before serving.
