Ingredients
- Chicken wings
 - 1 kg
 - All-purpose flour
 - 1 cup
 - Cornstarch
 - 1 cup
 - Salt
 - 1 teaspoon
 - Black pepper
 - 1 teaspoon
 - Garlic powder
 - 1 teaspoon
 - Ginger powder
 - 1 teaspoon
 - Vegetable oil
 - for deep frying
 - Soy sauce
 - 1/2 cup
 - Honey
 - 1/4 cup
 - Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
 - 1/4 cup
 - Rice vinegar
 - 2 tablespoons
 - Toasted sesame oil
 - 1 tablespoon
 - Green onions
 - 2 stalks, sliced
 - Toasted sesame seeds
 - for garnish
 
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
 - Coat the chicken wings evenly with the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Set aside.
 - Heat ample vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large, deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
 - Fry the chicken wings in batches for about 10-12 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried chicken and drain on paper towels.
 - To prepare the sauce, combine soy sauce, honey, gochujang, rice vinegar, and toasted sesame oil in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens slightly, this should take about 5 minutes.
 - Toss the crispy chicken wings in the sauce until they're evenly coated.
 - Garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
