
Korean Style Spaghetti Carbonara
This is a fusion dish that combines the creamy richness of Italian carbonara with the spicy kick of Korean cuisine.
Ingredients
- Green onions (2, chopped)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Gochujang (korean red chili paste) (1 tablespoon)
- Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup, grated)
- Eggs (2)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Bacon (100 grams, diced)
- Spaghetti (200 grams)
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, Parmesan cheese, and gochujang.
- Turn off the heat under the pan. Add the cooked spaghetti and the egg mixture to the pan and toss until the spaghetti is well coated.
- Add the cooked bacon and toss again. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the spaghetti carbonara topped with chopped green onions.
