Ingredients

Water
4 cups
Lavender flowers
2 tablespoons, dried or 4-5 sprigs, fresh
Lemons
4, juiced
Honey
1/2 cup (adjust to taste)
Ice cubes
as needed
Lemon slices
for garnish
Lavender sprigs
for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add the lavender flowers (or sprigs). Cover and let steep for 10 minutes to infuse the water with the floral aroma.
  3. Strain the lavender-infused water through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the flowers.
  4. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey to the pitcher. Stir well until the honey is completely dissolved.
  5. Add ice cubes to the pitcher and stir to chill the lemonade thoroughly.
  6. Serve the lavender lemonade over ice in glasses, garnished with lemon slices and lavender sprigs for an elegant touch.
