Ingredients

Original recipe serves 1

Mint leaves
4-5 leaves
Lime slices
2 slices
Ice cubes
1 cup
Club soda
1 cup
Homemade simple syrup
2 tablespoons
Fresh lime juice
1/4 cup
Sugar
1/2 cup (for simple syrup)
Water
1/2 cup (for simple syrup)

Instructions

  1. To make the simple syrup, combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved. Allow to cool.
  2. In a tall glass, combine the fresh lime juice and simple syrup.
  3. Add ice cubes to the glass, filling it almost to the top.
  4. Pour club soda over the ice, leaving some room at the top for garnishes.
  5. Stir gently to combine the ingredients in the glass.
  6. Garnish with lime slices and mint leaves, tucking them into the sides of the glass or floating on top for an appealing look.
  7. Serve immediately for a refreshing, fizzy delight. Enjoy!

Tips
