Limoncello Latte

Ingredients
- Espresso or strong brewed coffee
- 1 shot (or 1 cup)
- Milk
- 1 cup
- Limoncello liqueur
- 1 ounce
- Honey or sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons (to taste)
- Lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon
- Whipped cream
- for topping
- Lemon slice
- for garnish
Instructions
- Brew a shot of espresso or prepare a strong cup of coffee.
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling, stirring occasionally to prevent it from scorching.
- Once warm, whisk in the limoncello liqueur, honey or sugar, and lemon zest until everything is well combined and the sweetener dissolves.
- Pour the hot milk mixture into a blender. Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds to create a frothy texture.
- Pour the brewed espresso or coffee into a mug.
- Gently pour the frothy milk mixture over the espresso or coffee, using a spoon to hold back the foam if necessary.
- Top generously with whipped cream and garnish with a lemon slice and an extra sprinkle of lemon zest for an added zing.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing taste!
