Lobster meat
2 cups, cooked and chopped
Mayonnaise
1/2 cup
Celery
1/4 cup, finely chopped
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Fresh dill
2 tablespoons, chopped
Salt
to taste
Black pepper
to taste
Butter
4 tablespoons, melted
Hot dog buns
4, preferably new england-style
Lettuce leaves
4, for lining the buns
Tomato
1, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, lemon juice, fresh dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until the lobster is well coated.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Brush the insides of the hot dog buns with melted butter.
  3. Toast the buns in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  4. Place a leaf of lettuce in each toasted bun to create a fresh layer, followed by a generous scoop of the lobster mixture.
