Servings: 4

Ingredients

Cooked lobster meat
2 cups, chopped
Mayonnaise
1/2 cup
Celery
1/2 cup, finely chopped
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Salt
1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon, or to taste
Unsalted butter
2 tablespoons, melted
Hot dog buns
4, split
Lettuce leaves
4, for lining

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, gently combine the chopped cooked lobster meat, mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir carefully to coat the lobster without breaking the pieces too much.
  2. In a separate small bowl, melt the unsalted butter in the microwave or over low heat until fully melted.
  3. Generously brush the melted butter on the inside of each hot dog bun, allowing it to soak in slightly.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the buttered buns, cut side down, in the skillet. Toast them for 2-3 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Place a crisp lettuce leaf in each toasted bun to create a barrier that helps keep the bun from becoming soggy.
  6. Spoon the lobster mixture generously into each bun, allowing it to overflow slightly for a hearty presentation.
  7. Serve your lobster rolls immediately while they are warm, garnished with an extra squeeze of lemon if desired, and enjoy the delightful flavors!
