Servings: 4

Ingredients

Lobster tails
4, split in half lengthwise
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Salt
1 teaspoon, or to taste
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Flour tortillas
8, 6-inch size
Shredded lettuce
2 cups
Tomato
1, diced
Red onion
1/2, thinly sliced
Cilantro
1/2 cup, chopped
Avocado
1, sliced
Lime
2, juiced
Sour cream
1/2 cup
Hot sauce
1-2 tablespoons, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the lobster tails with olive oil and season generously with salt and black pepper.
  3. Place the lobster tails, cut side down, on the grill. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side or until the meat is opaque and cooked through, adjusting time based on the size of the tails.
  4. Remove the lobster from the grill and allow to cool slightly. Carefully extract the meat from the shells and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Warm the flour tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side until they are pliable and slightly charred.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced red onion, and chopped cilantro to create a fresh taco filling. Toss gently to combine.
  7. In another bowl, whisk together the lime juice, sour cream, and hot sauce until smooth to create the zesty lime sauce. Adjust the hot sauce to your preferred spice level.
  8. To assemble the tacos, place a generous spoonful of the lettuce mixture onto each tortilla.
  9. Top with the grilled lobster meat and avocado slices.
  10. Drizzle the zesty lime sauce over the top of each taco.
  11. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges and hot sauce on the side for added flavor.
