Loganberry Summer Cooler

- 2 cups Fresh Loganberries
- 4 cups Water
- 1 cup, or to taste Granulated Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice

Instructions
- Combine the loganberries, water, and sugar in a large pot. Stir until the sugar begins to dissolve.
- Place the pot over medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the loganberries are soft and have released their juice.
- Using a potato masher or the back of a spoon, gently crush the berries to extract more juice. Be careful not to splash!
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl or jug, pressing on the berries to get all the juice out. Discard the solids.
- Stir in the fresh lemon juice. Taste and add more sugar or lemon juice if needed.
- Allow the drink to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill.
- Serve the cooled loganberry drink over ice, and enjoy the taste of summer!
Tips
- If loganberries aren't available, you can substitute with a mix of raspberries and blackberries.
