Lutefisk
1 pound, prepared and thawed
Taco shells
8
Shredded lettuce
2 cups
Diced tomatoes
1 cup
Shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
1 cup
Sour cream
1/2 cup
Salsa
1 cup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to warm the taco shells.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, gently warm the prepared lutefisk, breaking it into smaller pieces with a spatula until heated through, about 5 minutes.
  3. While the lutefisk is warming, place the taco shells in the oven and heat according to package instructions, typically about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Once the lutefisk is heated, remove the taco shells from the oven and fill each shell with a portion of the lutefisk.
  5. Top the lutefisk generously with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  6. Finish each taco with a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa.
  7. Serve the lutefisk tacos immediately, allowing guests to customize their toppings as they please.
