Servings: 4

Ingredients

Razor clams
12, cleaned
Unsalted butter
4 tablespoons, melted
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Fresh parsley
2 tablespoons, chopped
Parmesan cheese
1 cup, grated
Breadcrumbs
1/2 cup
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Lemon wedges
for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Thoroughly clean the razor clams under cold running water, removing any sand or debris. Discard any clams that are open and do not close when tapped.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Arrange the cleaned razor clams on a baking sheet, open side up.
  5. Generously sprinkle the Parmesan mixture evenly over each clam, ensuring they are well covered.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the clams, allowing it to seep into the breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the clams are cooked through and the topping is golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving.
  9. Serve hot, accompanied by fresh lemon wedges for an extra zing.
