Sesame oil
2 tablespoons
Onion
1, sliced
Garlic
2 cloves, minced
Ginger
1 inch, grated
Bell peppers
2, sliced (red and yellow for color)
Mango
1, peeled, pitted, and diced
Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
Honey
1 tablespoon
Red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
Salt
to taste
Cooked rice
2 cups, for serving
Green onions
2, chopped (for garnish)
Sesame seeds
1 tablespoon (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the skillet. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and the onion becomes translucent.
  3. Add the sliced bell peppers to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften but still retain some crunch.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt to create a flavorful sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce into the skillet and stir well to coat the sautéed vegetables.
