Originating from the tropical regions of India and Southeast Asia, the mango has been cherished for its bright, sweet flavor for thousands of years. Paired with the zesty lemon and aromatic basil, this beverage is a true fusion of flavors that is bound to make your tastebuds dance.

Serves 4

Ingredients

Ripe mangoes
2, peeled and diced
Fresh basil leaves
15-20 leaves
Lemons
3, juiced
Water
3 cups
Honey
1/4 cup, or to taste
Ice cubes
as needed
Extra basil leaves
for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add the diced mangoes, fresh basil leaves, freshly squeezed lemon juice, water, and honey.
  2. Blend until you have a smooth and well-combined mixture. Make sure all the mango pieces and basil leaves are fully blended into the liquid.
  3. Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness as per your preference. If you want it sweeter, add more honey and blend again.
  4. Prepare your glasses by filling them with ice cubes.
