
Mango Mint Iced Tea
This refreshing iced tea combines the tropical flavors of mango with the coolness of mint.
Ingredients
- Mint sprigs (for garnish) (optional)
- Ice cubes (2 cups)
- Honey or sugar (2 tablespoons (adjust to taste))
- Boiling water (4 cups)
- Black tea bags (4 bags)
- Fresh mint leaves (1/4 cup)
- Mangoes (2 ripe, peeled and diced)
Instructions
- In a pitcher, combine the diced mangoes and fresh mint leaves.
- Place the black tea bags in a heatproof container and pour the boiling water over them. Let steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and pour the brewed tea into the pitcher with the mangoes and mint leaves.
- Add honey or sugar to taste and stir until dissolved.
- Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to infuse.
- When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mango mint tea over the ice.
- Garnish with mint sprigs, if desired.
