Topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a hint of mint, this dessert is the perfect finish to any meal or a refreshing treat on a warm day. Originating from the French 'Tarte aux mangues', this dish has been adopted globally and is especially popular in mango-growing regions such as Thailand and India.

- 1/4 teaspoon
- Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup
- Unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup, cold and cut into small pieces
- All-purpose flour

Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the flour, butter, sugar, and salt. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add 2-3 tablespoons of cold water and pulse until the dough comes together.

- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a circle slightly larger than your tart pan. Transfer the dough to the tart pan and press it into the bottom and sides. Trim any excess dough.

- Pour the mango mixture into the tart shell and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
- Slice the remaining mango into thin slices and arrange them on top of the tart.
- Serve the mango tart chilled, topped with whipped cream and fresh mint leaves.
