Ingredients

Pizza dough
1 (store-bought or homemade)
Tomato sauce
1 cup
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
Fresh basil
1/4 cup, chopped
Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness. Aim for a thickness of about 1/4 inch for a crispy base.
  3. Carefully transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or onto the preheated pizza stone.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the tomato sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to blend the flavors.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce mixture evenly over the surface of the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
