Water

Fresh ginger

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.
  2. Add the grated ginger, crushed cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, cloves, and black peppercorns to the boiling water.
  3. Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse their flavors into the water.
  4. Add the black tea leaves to the saucepan and simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in 1 cup of milk and add sugar to taste, stirring gently. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
