Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.
- Add the grated ginger, crushed cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, cloves, and black peppercorns to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse their flavors into the water.
- Add the black tea leaves to the saucepan and simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
- Pour in 1 cup of milk and add sugar to taste, stirring gently. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
