Meatloaf

This classic meatloaf recipe is made with ground beef, breadcrumbs, onions, and a flavorful glaze.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Salt (1 teaspoon)
  • Dijon mustard (1 tablespoon)
  • Worcestershire sauce (1 tablespoon)
  • Ketchup (1/4 cup)
  • Egg (1)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Onion (1 medium, finely chopped)
  • Breadcrumbs (1 cup)
  • Ground beef (1.5 pounds)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar to make the glaze.
  5. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
