Classic Meatloaf

- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 medium, finely chopped Onion

- 1, beaten Egg
- 1/2 cup, plus more for the glaze Ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons (for glaze) Brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, beaten egg, 1/2 cup of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture into a greased loaf pan and shape it into a loaf, smoothing the top.
- In a small bowl, prepare the glaze by mixing together the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar until well blended.
- Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf, ensuring it covers the entire surface.
- Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 60 minutes, or until its internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Once baked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute before slicing and serving.
