
Meatloaf
This classic meatloaf recipe is made with ground beef, breadcrumbs, onions, and a flavorful glaze.
Ingredients
- Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
- Salt (1 teaspoon)
- Dijon mustard (1 tablespoon)
- Worcestershire sauce (1 tablespoon)
- Ketchup (1/4 cup)
- Egg (1)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Onion (1 medium, finely chopped)
- Breadcrumbs (1 cup)
- Ground beef (1.5 pounds)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar to make the glaze.
- Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
