Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Generously grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Mix well and set aside.
- In another large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until it becomes light and fluffy. This should take about 3-4 minutes with an electric mixer on medium speed.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, making sure each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Stir in the milk, vanilla extract, mint extract, and green food coloring (if using). Mix until well combined.
