Green onions
2, finely chopped
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Water
2 tablespoons
Ginger
1 tablespoon, freshly grated
Garlic
2 cloves, minced
Honey
1 tablespoon
Rice vinegar
2 tablespoons
Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
White miso paste
1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the white miso paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and freshly grated ginger.
  2. Add in the water and sesame oil. Whisk the ingredients together until they form a smooth sauce.
  3. Fold in the finely chopped green onions.
  4. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed. You can add more honey for sweetness or more soy sauce for saltiness.
  5. The miso sauce is ready to be used immediately. Alternatively, you can store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to one week.
