Ingredients
- Boiling water
- 3 cups
- Sugar
- 3 tablespoons, or to taste
- Fresh mint leaves
- 1 large bunch
- Green tea leaves
- 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Add the green tea leaves to a clean, heatproof teapot.
- Place the fresh mint leaves on top of the green tea leaves.
- Pour the boiling water over the tea and mint leaves in the teapot.
- Let the tea steep for about 5 minutes. This allows the flavors of the green tea and mint leaves to infuse into the water.
- After the tea has steeped, stir in the sugar until it is completely dissolved.
- Pour the tea into teacups using a strainer to catch any leaves. It's traditional in Morocco to pour the tea from a height to create a little foam on the top of the tea.
- Serve the tea hot and enjoy the refreshing, aromatic flavors.
