Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, semolina flour, and salt.
- Gradually pour in the warm water, stirring continuously to combine until a dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes. The dough should become smooth and elastic.
- Divide the kneaded dough into 6 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball.
- Generously brush each dough ball with vegetable oil. Let them rest for about 10 minutes.
- On a floured surface, roll out each ball into a thin circle about 8 inches in diameter.
- Brush the surface of each circle with the melted butter.
- Fold the dough circle in half to form a semicircle, then fold in half again to create a triangle shape.
- Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook each triangle for about 2 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the msmen warm, drizzled with honey or a dollop of your favorite jam.
Tips
- For a savory twist, try filling the pancakes with cheese or spiced meat before folding and cooking.
