Original recipe serves 8

Roasted barley
1/2 cup
Water
8 cups

Instructions

  1. Rinse the roasted barley under cold running water to remove any dust or impurities.
  2. In a large pot, combine the rinsed barley and 8 cups of water.
  3. Bring the mixture to a vigorous boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and allow the barley to simmer for approximately 10 minutes. This will help extract the rich flavors and nutrients from the barley.
