
Mushroom and Bacon Salad
This delicious salad combines earthy mushrooms, crispy bacon, and fresh greens for a satisfying and flavorful dish.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Balsamic vinegar (2 tablespoons)
- Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup, grated)
- Red onion (1/4 cup, thinly sliced)
- Cherry tomatoes (1 cup, halved)
- Mixed greens (4 cups)
- Mushrooms (8 ounces, sliced)
- Bacon (4 slices, cooked and crumbled)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and crumble into small pieces.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown and tender, about 5 minutes.
- In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cooked bacon, and sautéed mushrooms.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the salad.
