
Mushroom and Garlic Pasta
This creamy mushroom and garlic pasta is a delicious and comforting dish that is quick and easy to make.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup, grated)
- Heavy cream (1/2 cup)
- Mushrooms (8 ounces, sliced)
- Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Pasta (8 ounces)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and become golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the creamy mushroom sauce.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
