
Mushroom and Tomato Pizza
This delicious pizza is topped with sautéed mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, and melted cheese.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh basil (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup, grated)
- Mozzarella cheese (1 cup, shredded)
- Tomatoes (2 medium, sliced)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Mushrooms (8 ounces, sliced)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Pizza dough (1 pound)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the mushrooms and garlic and sauté until the mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Spread the sautéed mushrooms evenly over the pizza dough.
- Arrange the sliced tomatoes on top of the mushrooms.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the tomatoes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped basil.
- Slice and serve hot.
