  • Taco seasoning (1 packet)
  • Water (as needed for taco seasoning)
  • Refried beans (1 cup)
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend) (2 cups)
  • Tomatoes, diced (1 cup)
  • Green onions, sliced (1/2 cup)
  • Black olives, sliced (1/2 cup)
  • Jalapenos, sliced (1/4 cup)
  • Sour cream (1 cup)
  • Guacamole (1 cup)
  • Salsa (1 cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning and the amount of water specified on the packet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  5. Evenly spread the refried beans over the tortilla chips.
  6. Layer the cooked ground beef on top of the beans.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously over the beef, followed by diced tomatoes, green onions, black olives, and sliced jalapenos.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
