Ingredients

Original recipe serves 6

Fresh nectarines
4, pitted and chopped
Fresh blueberries
2 cups
Granulated sugar
3/4 cup (adjust to taste)
Water
1/2 cup
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons (freshly squeezed)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and water over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the chopped nectarines, blueberries, lemon juice, and the cooled sugar syrup. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  4. Transfer the sorbet to a lidded container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  5. Serve the sorbet in bowls or cones, garnished with fresh fruit or mint leaves if desired, and enjoy!
