
Nectarine and Mango French Toast
This delicious French toast is made with fresh nectarines, mangoes, and a hint of cinnamon.
Ingredients
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
- Maple syrup (for serving)
- Mango (1, diced)
- Nectarines (2, sliced)
- Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon)
- Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
- Milk (1/2 cup)
- Eggs (2)
- Bread slices (4)
Instructions
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.
- Place the dipped bread slices onto the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the cooked French toast from the skillet and set aside.
