Welcome the summer heat with our Nectarine Daiquiri Delight. This lush cocktail is a fusion of ripe, juicy nectarines, a splash of white rum, a hint of lime, and a dash of homemade simple syrup. Garnished with refreshing mint leaves, this drink is a tropical vacation in a glass. Originating from the beautiful island of Cuba, this Daiquiri variation brings a fruity twist to the traditional rum-lime-sugar trio.

Ingredients

Fresh mint leaves
4-5 (for garnish)
Ice cubes
1 cup
Homemade simple syrup
1/2 cup (1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water boiled and cooled)
Fresh lime juice
1/4 cup
White rum
1 cup
Fresh nectarines
2 large, pitted and sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the simple syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. In a blender, combine the sliced nectarines, white rum, fresh lime juice, cooled simple syrup, and ice cubes.
  3. Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth and frothy consistency.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into your favorite cocktail glasses.
