Instructions
- Brew a shot of espresso using your preferred method.
- While your espresso is brewing, pour the milk into a small saucepan and heat over medium heat. Be sure to watch the milk closely to prevent it from boiling over.
- Once the milk is hot, transfer it to a blender and blend on high speed for about 30 seconds until it becomes frothy. Alternatively, you can use a milk frother for this step.
- In a large coffee mug, combine the freshly brewed espresso with the hazelnut syrup. Stir until the syrup is fully incorporated into the espresso.
- Pour the frothy milk over the espresso and hazelnut syrup mixture, filling the mug.
- Finish off your Neuschwanstein Nutty Latte by adding a generous amount of whipped cream on top and garnishing with crushed hazelnuts.
- Serve immediately while hot, and enjoy the taste of Bavaria in every sip!
Tips
- For a dairy-free version, replace the milk with almond milk or oat milk, and use a dairy-free whipped cream.
- If you prefer your coffee drinks less sweet, you can reduce the amount of hazelnut syrup or use a sugar-free version.
- For an extra indulgence, drizzle some chocolate syrup over the whipped cream before adding the crushed hazelnuts.
