
Nopal Coffee Tonic
This refreshing and energizing coffee tonic is infused with the goodness of nopal cactus.
Ingredients
- Mint leaves (for garnish)
- Ice cubes (handful)
- Honey (1 teaspoon)
- Lime juice (1 tablespoon)
- Sparkling water (1/2 cup)
- Coffee (1 shot of espresso or 1/2 cup of strong brewed coffee)
- Nopal cactus (1 small pad, cleaned and diced)
Instructions
- In a glass, muddle the diced nopal cactus to release its juices.
- Add the shot of espresso or strong brewed coffee to the glass.
- Pour in the sparkling water and lime juice.
- Stir in the honey until well combined.
- Add a handful of ice cubes to the glass.
- Garnish with mint leaves.
- Serve and enjoy!
