Nopal Coffee Tonic
A unique and invigorating coffee tonic that blends the bold flavors of coffee with the subtle earthiness of nopal cactus. Ingredients
- 1/2 cup, diced Nopal cactus
- 1 shot Espresso or strong brewed coffee
- 1 cup Sparkling water
- 1 tablespoon Lime juice
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- Handful Ice cubes
- For garnish Mint leaves

Instructions
- Prepare a glass and place the diced nopal cactus inside. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, crush the cactus to release its juices.
- Pour the shot of espresso or strong brewed coffee into the glass, over the muddled cactus.
- Add in the sparkling water and lime juice, and stir the mixture.
- Add the honey, stirring until it is fully dissolved and the mixture is well combined.
- Toss in a handful of ice cubes to chill the drink.
- Garnish the glass with fresh mint leaves.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing burst of flavors!
Tips
- For a sweeter drink, you can add more honey.
- You can adjust the amount of coffee according to your taste.
- For an extra punch, try adding a slice of fresh ginger to the mix.
