Nubian Nutmeg Coffee

Ingredients

Milk

2 cups (whole or your preferred type)

Honey

2 tablespoons (adjust to taste)

Ground cardamom

1/2 teaspoon

Ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon

Ground nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon (plus extra for garnish)

Ground coffee

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, combine the ground nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom to create a spice blend.
2. Brew the coffee using your preferred method (drip, French press, etc.), adding the spice blend to the coffee grounds before brewing for maximum flavor infusion.
3. While the coffee is brewing, heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it is hot but not boiling. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching.
4. Once the coffee is ready, pour it into two mugs.
5. Stir in honey to each mug, adjusting the sweetness according to your preference.
6. Carefully pour the hot milk into the mugs, dividing it evenly between them, creating a beautifully layered effect.
7. Garnish each mug with a light sprinkle of nutmeg for an aromatic touch.
