Servings: 12

Ingredients

All-purpose flour
2 cups
Granulated sugar
1/2 cup
Baking powder
2 teaspoons
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Eggs
2, large
Milk
1 cup
Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon
Nutella
1 cup
Powdered sugar
for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a doughnut pan with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine.
  5. Fill each doughnut cup about halfway with the batter.
  6. Using a small spoon, add approximately 1 tablespoon of Nutella into the center of each doughnut cup, then top with the remaining batter until each cup is about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the doughnut comes out clean.
  8. Allow the doughnuts to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes, then gently transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Once cooled, dust the doughnuts generously with powdered sugar before serving.
