Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Whisk until well mixed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until fully incorporated.
- Gradually pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Remember, it's okay to have a few lumps left.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and gently spread it into a circle with the back of a ladle.
- Add a tablespoon of Nutella into the center of the pancake batter circle.
- Cover the Nutella with another 1/4 cup of pancake batter, spreading it to cover the Nutella completely.
- Cook the pancake until bubbles form on the surface, then carefully flip it with a spatula. Continue cooking the other side for about 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.
- Repeat the process with the remaining pancake batter and Nutella.
- Serve these delightful Nutella Stuffed Pancakes while still warm. You can add more Nutella on top, garnish with fresh berries, or drizzle with maple syrup for extra flavor.
Tips
- For a lighter version, you can replace the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour or oat flour.
- You can also add a pinch of cinnamon or vanilla extract to the batter for added flavor.
- If you're a chocolate lover, try adding some chocolate chips to the batter.
