
Olivier Salad
Olivier salad, also known as Russian salad, is a classic dish made with boiled potatoes, carrots, peas, pickles, and mayonnaise.
Ingredients
- Fresh dill (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Dijon mustard (1 tablespoon)
- Mayonnaise (1/2 cup)
- Hard (boiled eggs - 3, chopped)
- Pickles (4 medium, diced)
- Peas (1 cup, boiled)
- Carrots (2 medium, boiled and diced)
- Potatoes (3 large, boiled and diced)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the boiled potatoes, carrots, peas, pickles, and chopped hard-boiled eggs.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and toss gently to coat everything evenly.
- Garnish with fresh dill.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
