4, peeled and segmented
Milk
1 cup (can substitute with almond or oat milk for a dairy-free version)
Ice cubes
1 cup
Granulated sugar
1/4 cup (adjust to taste)
Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon
Optional: powdered sugar
1 tablespoon (for added sweetness if desired)

Instructions

  1. Begin by peeling and segmenting the fresh oranges, removing any seeds.
  2. In a blender, combine the segmented oranges, milk, ice cubes, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Blend on high speed for about 30-45 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If you prefer a sweeter drink, add the optional powdered sugar and blend again.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar or powdered sugar.
