- 1 1/2 cups Milk
- Zest of 1 orange Fresh orange zest
- 2 tablespoons Poppy seeds
- As needed for greasing Vegetable oil

Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, lightly beat the egg. Add the milk, fresh orange zest, and poppy seeds. Stir until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix - a few lumps are perfectly fine and ensure your pancakes will be fluffy.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with vegetable oil.
