Homemade Orangina

Ingredients
- Sparkling water
- 4 cups, chilled
- Water
- 1 cup
- Granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup
- Lemons
- 2, juiced
- Oranges
- 4, juiced
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the water and granulated sugar. Heat over medium-high heat, bringing the mixture to a gentle boil while stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and allow the sugar syrup to cool completely.
- In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed orange juice and lemon juice.
- Once the sugar syrup has cooled, add it to the pitcher with the citrus juices. Stir well to ensure everything is mixed thoroughly.
- Just before serving, gently pour in the chilled sparkling water, stirring lightly to combine without losing the fizz.
- Serve the Orangina over ice in tall glasses, garnished with a slice of orange or lemon if desired.
