Servings: 4

Ingredients

Chicken breasts
4 (boneless, skinless)
Olive oil
1/4 cup
Fresh oregano
2 tablespoons, finely chopped
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons
Salt
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, chopped oregano, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish and massage the marinade into the chicken to ensure even coating.
  3. Refrigerate and marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for the best flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, ensure the coals are evenly distributed.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
  6. Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving.
