Authentic Paneer Bhurji

Ingredients
- 200g, crumbled Paneer cheese
- 1 medium, finely chopped Onion
- 1 large, finely chopped Tomato
- 2, finely chopped Green chilli
- 1 teaspoon, grated Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 2 tablespoons, finely chopped Coriander leaves

Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add the finely chopped onions, green chilli, and grated ginger to the pan. Saute until the onions turn a golden brown color.
- Now, add the finely chopped tomatoes to the pan. Cook until the tomatoes soften and become mushy.
- Sprinkle the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, and salt over the mixture. Stir well to evenly distribute the spices.
- Add the crumbled paneer to the pan and gently stir to combine with the spice mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the paneer is warmed through.
- Garnish the Paneer Bhurji with the finely chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with roti or bread.
Tips
- For a vegan alternative, use tofu instead of paneer.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) at the end.
