Paneer Tikka: Grilled Indian Cheese Delight

Ingredients
- 250g, cut into cubes Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese)
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 2 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- to taste Salt
- 1 cup, cut into squares Bell peppers
- 1 cup, cut into squares Onion
- 1 cup Cherry tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons Oil

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt to make a marinade.
- Add the paneer cubes into the marinade ensuring each cube is well-coated. Let it rest for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Thread the marinated paneer cubes, bell peppers, onion squares, and cherry tomatoes alternately onto the skewers.
- Brush each skewer lightly with oil to prevent sticking and place them on the grill.
- Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is beautifully golden and the vegetables have a nice char.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot with your choice of mint chutney or a cooling yogurt dip.
Tips
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before threading to prevent burning.
- For a vegan option, replace paneer with tofu and use vegan yogurt.
