2 teaspoons
Turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt to make a marinade.
  2. Add the paneer cubes into the marinade ensuring each cube is well-coated. Let it rest for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  4. Thread the marinated paneer cubes, bell peppers, onion squares, and cherry tomatoes alternately onto the skewers.
  5. Brush each skewer lightly with oil to prevent sticking and place them on the grill.
  6. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is beautifully golden and the vegetables have a nice char.
  7. Remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot with your choice of mint chutney or a cooling yogurt dip.

Tips

  • 💡 If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before threading to prevent burning.
  • 💡 For a vegan option, replace paneer with tofu and use vegan yogurt.
