Paneer Tikka

Paneer tikka is a popular Indian appetizer made with marinated paneer cubes, grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  • Skewers (4)
  • Oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Cherry tomatoes (1/2 cup)
  • Onion (1/2 cup, diced)
  • Bell peppers (1/2 cup, diced)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
  • Garam masala (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Red chili powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Ginger (garlic paste - 1 tablespoon)
  • Yogurt (1/2 cup)
  • Paneer (250 grams, cut into cubes)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Add paneer cubes to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  4. Thread marinated paneer cubes, bell peppers, onion, and cherry tomatoes onto skewers.
  5. Brush the skewers with oil and place them on the grill.
  6. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is golden and the vegetables are charred.
  7. Remove from the grill and serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt dip.
