All-purpose flour
1 cup
Milk
2 cups
Eggs
4 large
Granulated sugar
2 tablespoons
Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon
Salt
1/4 teaspoon
Butter
4 tablespoons
Powdered sugar
for dusting
Jam, syrup, or fresh berries
for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and well combined.
  3. Place the butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish and melt it in the preheated oven, about 5 minutes.
  4. Once the butter has melted, carefully remove the baking dish from the oven and pour the batter into the hot melted butter, making sure to spread it evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pannukakku is puffed up and golden brown on the edges.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm with your choice of jam, syrup, or fresh berries.
